Quality Assurance Specialist

You stay up to date with all the newest devices and understand how they work.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you are skilled in automated testing and will be part of a mighty and quickly growing team of designers, animators, and developers. What we expect.

  • 3+ years of automated testing and/or development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Automation testing processes and best practices
  • Understanding of quality assurance best practices and software testing methodology, including the creation and execution of test plans and testing scripts.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understands wireframes and designs in order to create testable requirements based on this documentation.
  • Knowledge of overall architecture of websites, mobile applications, set-top boxes, and online games.
  • Experience assisting in debugging and suggesting improvements to the team to improve the overall end result.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work well in an ever-changing, fast-paced, high-pressure environment that requires meeting tight deadlines.

Bonus Points.

  • Enterprise-grade services testing/QA experience
  • Charles Proxy/Postman other HTTP Proxy services experience
  • Familiarity with general web tech (Headers, Cookies, URL manipulation, etc)
  • Exposure to OTT devices (Roku/Chromecast)
  • Development experience is considered an asset.
